Cancellation policy
September 22, 2026
Two different cancellations
Cancelling a booked lesson: you free a slot and your package stays active. That is what this page is about.
Cancelling an order: you give up a purchase (a package or a trial lesson) and ask for a refund. That is done through the Cancel an order form, under the conditions set out in the terms of sale.
Changing or cancelling a lesson
A lesson can be changed or cancelled up to 12 hours before it starts. Within that window the credit is returned automatically and can be used for another session.
Less than 12 hours before the lesson starts, the lesson is due and the credit is used.
This notice period makes it possible to offer the freed slot to another student and to prepare each lesson individually.
Lateness and no-shows
A student arriving late does not automatically extend the lesson: the session ends at the scheduled time.
Missing a lesson without cancelling uses the credit. In case of a serious and unforeseeable problem, write as soon as you can: every situation is looked at in good faith.
Cancellation by the teacher
If the teacher has to cancel, the lesson is rescheduled at a mutually agreed time, without using a credit.
If no new time suits the student, the credit is returned to them: it goes back to their balance and stays usable for another session.
How to cancel or move a lesson
Use the cancel or reschedule link in the confirmation e-mail you received when booking (sent by Cal.com). Cancellation is immediate and a confirmation is sent to you by e-mail.
If you have any difficulty, write to makefrenchyours@gmail.com before the 12-hour deadline.
